Coronavirus outbreak in Ladakh has put almost everything under lockdown. The prevailing unfortunate circumstances have put an immense restriction on almost everything. In Ladakh total 6 positive cases have been registered; 5 cases in Leh district and 1 in Kargil district. All positive cases have been shifted to isolation wards of respective districts.
Contacts of all positive cases have been quarantined in the respective health facilities of the districts. The administration has ensured all preventive measures. Various private organizations in the Leh district provide masks, sanitizers and handwashing facilities for the public. The airport is under strict surveillance and screening facilities are made available.
