Lieutenant Governor UT Ladakh Radha Krishna Mathur presided as the Chief Guest during the grand concluding function of the 1st Ladakh Winter Conclave.
Lt. Governor Mathur stated that the tourism industry of Ladakh should work towards a module targeting round the year income generation and distribution of that income over the entire population of Ladakh. He lauded the efforts of the organizers for the 1st 3-day Ladakh Winter Conclave. He expressed his hope for the constructive execution of all the ideas and suggestions deliberated during the 3-day conclave.
The main aim of Ladakh Winter Conclave was attracting tourists in the winter season, and it was attended by tourism experts, branding managers, wildlife, adventure sports operators and film personalities. Ladakh tourism Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel said interactions with the experts of various aspects of the tourism industry during the Conclave would help in creating a road map for the future.
